Community Renewal and Ecological Health Campaign
Join us as we raise $100,000 within the next 30 days and $1 million in the next 6 months.
So far we have allocated $21,000 in initial emergency grants to 3 grassroots/community led environmental networks in the gulf coast region. We plan to give another round of grants sometime in the near future to a larger pool of organizations, as more funds come available.
The initial grants given are mainly catalytic and will help off-set some of the costs for assessments and data gathering that are being conducted by these environmental networks around the social and environmental impact of the oil disaster. We have been working diligently to raise additional resources to support that work and we have also be reaching out to some of our colleagues to encourage them to allocate emergency dollars for community directed efforts as well.

Choose GCF when you order from Baking For Good

Baking for Good (www.bakingforgood.com) was started by Emily Dubner, a young entrepreneur with a passion for baking and a vision to do good.Baking for Good is a fresh concept, online bakery based on the idea of a bake sale. 15% of each purchase raises funds for the customer's choice social or community cause, and Gulf Coast Fund has partnered with Baking For Good to give customers the option of donating funds to assist with the oil spill disaster.
